Pentecost Worship

On Thursday 21st May, Class 4 worked together to produce a whole school worship about Pentecost.

One group decorated a birthday cake for the church (Pentecost is often thought of as the birth of the church) and another made a ‘people church’ to show that the church is made up of people, not just a building. A third group researched and made a Powerpoint presentation about how the Salvation Army are inspired by the Holy Spirit to serve others, linking in to our value for the term of ‘Service’.

The class then led the whole act of worship, presenting and explaining each of the elements and sharing a passage from Acts about the early church serving others. Well done, Class 4!
